Christopher Khoury is a second-year Ph.D. student at the Institute of Family Business and Mittelstand at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. His research focuses on external succession in family firms, particularly on financial investors like private equity as buyers of family businesses. Motives of family firms to sell to financial investors, organizational transformation, and leadership implications are the center of his research interests.
Christopher has collected international experiences in investment banking, consulting, and the private equity sector.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in international business administration and an MSc in Management from Bocconi University in Milan.
