The European Commission has just issued a new guide « Facilitating Transfer of Business – How To Support SME Policy from Structural Funds » – Transeo and some of its Members are mentionned in it!
The European Commission has just issued a new guide « Facilitating Transfer of Business – How To Support SME Policy from Structural Funds ».
Structural Funds should play an important role in supporting concrete projects aiming to enhance the transfer of business. This document therefore intends to provide an indication of actions that could be usefully taken in all countries and in all regions with the support of European Structural Funds. The target audience of this report are the policy makers and the managing authorities at regional level. This guide presents:
- The need for and potential positive impacts of public intervention for facilitating Transfer of Business in the EU via Structural Funds
- A look back on the Commission’s and Member States’ actions already taken
- Suggestions for measures to support Transfer of Business
- A number of good practice examples to inspire measures that could be included in the Structural Fund operational programmes (OPs).
Transeo is mentionned on page 19 and several Transeo Members are also referred as good practices (from page 27 on).
This was made possible thanks to Transeo’s active contacts with European institutions, including the fact that Transeo sent end 2011 the exhaustive results of the Mapping working group (Transeo Members may ask to receive the full report again – the summary version is available here) to the European Commission.
Transeo is keeping on working actively to be involved in the business transfer projects of the European Commission and to highlight the expertise of its Members to European institutions.
