The M&A, corporate law, and insolvency law practice of Peeters Advocaten-Avocats is headed by Leo Peeters, a specialist, with more than 30 years of experience, in national and cross-border corporate and business law, and in commercial and financial transactions. He offers advice on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financial transactions and restructuring of companies, private equity investments and venture capital financing across a range of industry sectors. In any kind of transactions Leo is supported by the following team of specialists:

Alain De Jonge has extensive experience in advising and assisting national and international investors with respect to real estate transactions, such as office buildings, commercial real estate, shopping centres, hotels and housing developments. He is also a very experienced and successful litigator.
Marcel Houben handles all aspects of employment, industrial relations and social security law. He assists with respect to the industrial relations law aspects of mergers, acquisitions, closures and collective dismissals, relations with the unions and personnel representation bodies at company level.
Griet Verfaillie heads the IP, IT and commercial law practice. She has acquired extensive experience in advising on problems concerning trade practices and intellectual property and IT matters, in particular trademarks, copyrights, counterfeiting, designs, etc, and distribution law. She is a specialist in any privacy matter, and therefore very valuable in each transaction.
